This here is one reason for me to always avoid using them ATVs: they had no power at all to travel over those major dunes. Also, by trying to go around them, I forgot to correct the GPS orientation and got lost MANY times. You did much better than I ever could

I really love Dakar 18. That's a game which offers something no other one does: racing "freely", having to rely only on your copilot, a book with anotations and a gps, just like real Dakar pilots would. Thank you for making these, I watch them all.

Hi Kev! thanks for all the Dakar 18 videos! Hope to see your new challenges in this game soon! And I have interesting information for you about this game. I was tired of the constant rain at all stages in Bolivia. Dark, gloomy stages, and everyone goes in a row without a break. And I found a way to change the weather while passing the game! 1) We go to the game directory with the roadbook (for me it is “t:\Programs\Dakar 18\Dakar18Game\Content\Roadbook\”). 2) Be sure to make a backup of the all “Roadbook” folder! You will need it if you want to fast return the original weather. 3) Next, open in Notepad the file "Stage6a_Light.json" (this is first rainy stage). 4) Find the 23rd line, it says "StreamingLevel": "Unique_Atmos_S06A". 5) Change "Unique_Atmos_S06A" to "Atmosphere". 6) Save and enjoy the sunny weather! By analogy, change the item in the "StreamingLevel" line to "Atmosphere" in all stage files in Bolivia - Stage6b_Light.json (the second part of the 6th stage), Stage7a_Light.json and others files. If you have any questions, let me know, I will help)))
